About The Position

Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton Street, Boston is currently looking for a Full Time Private Bar Server at our private resident lounge. The essential function of the job includes delivering food from the kitchen to the residents ensuring accuracy and timeliness. The server will assist in clearing, cleaning, and setting up tables, chairs, linens, china, glass, and silver for service in an unobtrusive manner; greet guests according to Four Seasons Standards to ensure superior service. The role requires anticipating guest needs, ascertaining satisfaction, and responding urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests. The server must work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors, and have the ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays. The position also requires the ability to work independently for shifts (with management support) and to properly and accurately close guest checks, process cash and credit card payments, and settle voided checks or complimentary meals.

Requirements

• Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
• Ability to carry and balance a tray.
• Ability to accurately process cash and credit card transactions.
• Must already be legally permitted to work in the United States.
