About The Position

Are you passionate about aquatics? Do you enjoy teaching youth and adults how to swim? If so, please consider joining our Aquatics Team at the Greendale Family Branch YMCA! We are currently seeking year round Swim Instructors to teach private swim lessons to small groups or one-on-one with members and program participants while maintaining a safe, friendly pool environment for our members. Typical hours vary – weekdays, daytime, evenings, and weekends, with a preference for daytime and evening weekday availability. Requirements

Be at least 16 years old.
Must have basic life support or professional rescuer CPR/AED, first aid, and emergency oxygen administration
Current Water Safety Instruction certification or at least two years of experience in swim instruction or meet the criteria to earn swim instruction certification
