About The Position

Help people of all ages gain confidence in the water while building your own leadership skills. Swim Instructors make a real impact, from teaching toddlers their first kicks to helping adults refine their strokes. If you enjoy working with kids, love the water, and want a flexible part-time job with great perks, this is the role for you!

Job Details: Shift times vary depending on scheduled lesson times, however typical available hours are as follows: Monday-Thursday 8:30a-11:30a Monday-Thursday 4:45pm-6:30pm Saturday 9am-12:15pm

Requirements

• Comfortable and confident in the water (we’ll train you on the teaching side!)
• Friendly, patient, and excited to work with people of all ages
• Reliable and able to provide excellent customer service
• Willing to receive CPR certification (provided by the Y if not already certified)

Responsibilities

• Teach swim lessons to groups and individuals of all ages and skill levels
• Work on everything from basic water safety and comfort to stroke development
• Provide a positive, encouraging environment for swimmers to succeed
• Build meaningful connections with families and community members
