About The Position
Gage Hospitality Group (GHG) is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Group Dining and Private Events Manager to join our stellar team. Established in 2007 by Billy Lawless, GHG is renowned for providing a rustic yet refined dining experience, characterized by genuine hospitality. Our collection of four restaurants is celebrated for its unique personality, chef-driven menus, curated beverage programs, and superior guest service. We pride ourselves on our commitment to creativity, quality, and service excellence, which has earned us critical acclaim and recognition in both regular dining and private events. In this role, you will be responsible for securing new clients and responding to inquiries related to group dining and private events. Your primary focus will be on converting leads into contracts and collaborating with the entire events team to ensure successful events that leave our customers delighted. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong background in food and beverage, and a passion for hospitality and customer service. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and ensure that every detail of their event is executed flawlessly. As the Group Dining and Private Events Manager, you will identify and cultivate new prospects, create strong client relationships, and respond promptly to inquiries with tailored information. You will be responsible for selling, booking, and contracting private events and group dining business, conducting site visits for prospective clients, generating Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), and coordinating with both front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) teams to ensure seamless execution of events. Your role will also involve consistent communication with clients to determine their needs and assist in securing additional event requirements such as audio-visual equipment and floral arrangements. You will join a talented team of sales, marketing, FOH, and BOH professionals who have a successful track record of implementing thousands of events with a high degree of repeat business. Additionally, you will provide valuable input to the marketing team's private events strategy and communications initiatives.
