Responsibilities

  • Actively contribute to new business development and marketing efforts, including establishing and maintaining industry relationships to generate ongoing deal flow.
  • Qualify potential private equity opportunities with the input of the Capital For Business (CFB) team.
  • Perform quantitative analysis of financial statements, financial metrics, and sustainability of cash flows.
  • Develop financial forecasting models for potential investments, develop investment theses, and author investment memoranda.
  • Present investment candidates to the Investment Committee.
  • Serve as a primary negotiator for approved transactions.
  • Lead due diligence, direct transaction execution team, and coordinate transaction closing.
  • Work with external banks and co-investors to gain support for investment financing.
  • Perform post-closing responsibilities, including interacting with the management of portfolio companies, evaluating and adding value to portfolio company's operations, monitoring performance of portfolio companies, and providing board-level oversight of the portfolio.
