About The Position
Our AmLaw 100 client is adding a mid -level debt finance associate to support sponsor -side and lender -side leveraged finance work tied to buyouts, acquisition financings, and growth deals.
Requirements
- Mid -level associate with leveraged finance reps (LBO, acquisition finance, growth facilities)
- Strong drafting in credit docs and comfort negotiating directly with counterparties
- Bar admission (or ability to obtain promptly) required
Responsibilities
- Represent private equity sponsors and/or banks and private credit lenders on term and revolving facilities
- Draft and negotiate commitment papers, credit agreements, and collateral documentation
- Run key deal workstreams and coordinate with corporate and sponsor teams through signing and closing
