FMI’s Private Equity Services Practice focuses on supporting financial sponsors investing in the built environment with consulting services and value creation efforts. Our clients span the range of financial sponsors from $100+ billion AUM firms to independent sponsors and family offices. With FMI’s more than 70+ years of exclusive focus on the built environment, our mission is to help financial sponsors unlock growth, enhance performance, and create lasting value in this vital industry. We are seeking a high-energy consultant with at least two years of experience as a Project Manager, Superintendent, or related role in a trade contractor or civil construction firm. The right candidate will demonstrate a curiosity driven and detail-oriented mindset. The role involves working with our financial sponsor clients pre and post transaction to provide advisory services such as operational due diligence and value-creation plan development. You will gain first-hand experience working with the stakeholders in the deal process and throughout the hold period. The role will engage with confidential information and be at the leading edge of M&A activity occurring in the built environment. This is a full-time opportunity that requires medium travel (<30%) and will be based out of our office in Denver, Colorado.
