Our nursing supervisors are eagerly awaiting to teach nurses. Private Duty (RN or LPN) for a pediatric patient, 6 yo male with g-tube, trach, & vent in Royal Oak, MD The following shift(s) are available for this case: Monday thru Friday: 7A-3:30P Attends school Saturday nights: 9P-7A
Requirements
- Active/unrestricted nursing license in the State of Maryland or Multistate compact license - Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Confidence to work independently
Nice To Haves
- Basic knowledge of G-tube/Trach care is preferred; however, willing to train qualified and interested candidates.
- Vent experience preferred (willing to train qualified candidates)
- Pediatric experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Working one-on-one in the client's home
- Complete nursing assessment
- Administer medication & and treatments as prescribed by the patient's Plan of Care
- Document nursing notes in a clear and concise manner
