Private Duty Nurse – Adult Quadriplegic
About The Position
NurseCore is seeking a skilled Private Duty Nurse to provide home care for an Adult Quadriplegic Male patient in Northwest, Las Vegas. 7:00a - 7:00p IMPORTANT: This patient can be strong-willed and expressive, occasionally using outspoken language or behavior, so patience, resilience, and professionalism are essential. The patient requires G-tube feeding, ventilator support, and tracheostomy care, and involves safely lifting and transferring him in and out of bed, wheelchair, and vehicle, requiring physical strength and stamina. Also, nails should be kept short and safe for hands-on care. Competitive pay for the right nurse, plus up to a $1,500 bonus!
Requirements
- Active RN or LPN nursing license in Nevada
- At least one year of post-grad experience
- Skilled with G-tube feeding, ventilator support, and tracheostomy care
- Physical strength to safely lift and transfer patient
- Patience, tolerance and professionalism
- Current hands-on CPR certification
- Negative TB results within the last 12 months
- Successful completion of a background check
- Nails should be kept short and safe for hands-on care
