URGENT: Adult Home Health Nurse Needed!!!
About The Position
Centria Healthcare is hiring compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide 1:1 private duty nursing in patients’ homes. You’ll deliver skilled, personalized care to pediatric and adult patients in a low-stress, relationship-based setting. Client-Specific Case Details This opportunity supports an adult client with a history of a motor vehicle accident (2020) resulting in a C1 ASIA-C spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury. The client has undergone C1–C2 stabilization and requires specialized, hands-on care. Care needs include: Neurogenic bladder management, including intermittent straight catheterization Monitoring for and managing frequent urinary tract infections (UTIs) Mobility assistance — client is able to ambulate short distances (up to 40 steps) with a walker Support with activities of daily living (ADLs) and ongoing safety supervision
Requirements
- Active RN or LPN license in the state of Michigan
- Home care or private duty experience preferred (not required)
- Trach/vent experience a plus (training provided)
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care (trach/vent care, medication administration, catheter care)
- Monitor and document patient condition and vital signs
- Assist with daily living activities (ADLs)
- Communicate with families and care teams
- Maintain safe, high-quality, patient-centered care
