Assisting Hands Home Care is hiring CNA and HHA caregivers in the Jacksonville area who want steady work, flexible schedules, and an office team that truly supports them. You will help clients remain safe and comfortable in their own homes by providing personalized care such as: Assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming) Light housekeeping Meal preparation Transportation to appointments or errands Companionship and conversation Every client is different. Requirements
- Valid Florida CNA License or HHA Certificate
- Completed Level II Background Check https://info.flclearinghouse.com
- Classroom CPR Certification
- Florida’s required trainings in:
- HIV/AIDS
- Alzheimer's and Related Dementias
- Assisting With Self-Administration of Medication
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes
- Strong communication skills and a caring, professional attitude
- Flexibility to meet the needs of different clients
Nice To Haves
- Comfort with pets preferred, as many clients have animals in the home
