About The Position
Empath Personal Care, a part of Empath Health, is seeking dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants to serve patients in Port Charlotte, Venice, and North Port within their homes. Requirements
- Valid Florida Board of Nursing certification (CNA License).
- CPR certification (in-house classes available if needed).
- Minimum of six (6) months of healthcare or home health experience preferred.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and operate a motor vehicle within the service area.
- Valid Florida Driver License and proof of auto insurance.

Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with daily living activities to patients in their homes.
- Support patients' comfort, dignity, and independence through individualized care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated service.
- Observe and report changes in patient condition to the appropriate clinical staff.
- Travel within the assigned service area to deliver care as scheduled.
