About The Position
The Private Dining Manager will solicit, confirm and coordinate new bookings for all private dining events . This will include utilizing CI to block space, prepare contracts, and detail event orders for the clients. This Private Dining Manager will prepare, implement and compile, with the assistance of a Sales Leader, yearly and quarterly strategic action plans to ensure revenue goals are achieved. These will typically be updated on a monthly basis.
Requirements
- Strong sales or catering sales background
- General food & wine knowledge
- Menu and event planning experience
- Event execution experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to be effective to several socioeconomic / demographic levels
- Excellent sales contract closing capabilities
- Goal oriented and highly self-motivated; can work with minimal direction
- Outside connections to the local business and social communities
