About The Position
Our AmLaw 100 client is building out its New York corporate finance group with a mid-level associate who has meaningful experience in private credit and syndicated debt. This is a core practice at the firm, not a satellite offering, with steady deal flow tied to sponsor and non-sponsor clients. The Role This associate will work on sophisticated financing matters, including private credit transactions and syndicated debt facilities. The practice regularly handles private equity acquisition finance, liability management, and special situations, often on complex, time-sensitive deals. Attorneys represent both borrowers and lenders, depending on the transaction. Requirements
- Class of 2017 to 2022
- Experience in private credit and syndicated debt at a peer firm
- Exposure to private equity acquisition finance, liability management, or special situations finance
- Background representing borrowers, lenders, or both
- Strong drafting skills and comfort running discrete workstreams with limited oversight
