The Private Credit working student role involves providing analytical and research support to various teams, contributing to projects and reports. Ideal candidates have an interest in complex financial structures, instrumentation, and workflows. Moody's 10-week summer internship program is a premier opportunity for students to immerse themselves in a hands-on learning experience, guided by Moody's commitment to integrity, excellence, and insight. The program takes place each summer from June - August and positions are available for undergraduate and select graduate students. Internships are full-time, offering a comprehensive view of Moody's business and culture, and a chance to build professional and technical skills. Programmatic elements include networking, mentorship, leadership speaker series and volunteering events. Interns complete project work determined by their team that have real impact, fostering a sense of accomplishment and professional growth. Throughout the internship, participants receive mentorship from Moody's professionals, gaining insights into diverse career paths and cultivate a comprehensive understanding of the company. Networking events and workshops further enrich the experience, providing a platform for professional development and collaboration. As a Moody's intern, you will gain real-world experience, turn inputs into actions, and be integral part of the team.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle workflow, to adapt to a changing environment, and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Strong organizational skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Students matriculating through college, studying towards a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, Political Economy, Statistics, or another related quantitative field.
  • Graduation date of December 2026 - June 2028.
  • Ability to work during program dates: June 1st - August 7th 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting Analytical, Strategy, Marketing, and Sales teams as needed.
  • Provide day-to-day analytical and research support to the teams.
  • Contribute to various projects including research, data, and process related projects.
  • Collect data and identify trends to support group objectives.
  • Responsible for monitoring media outlets for news regarding special projects or portfolios.
