Position Overview This Managing Director position will report to the SVP Global Head of Private Credit Product in State Street’s institutional services division. The position will also collaborate closely with operating teams providing fund administration, loan services, custody, transfer agency, trustee services and analytics to credit managers. The Private Credit Product and Technology Solutioning Manager role will have responsibility for contributing to the evolution and communication of our go-to-market technology strategy for asset servicing capabilities superior to global competitors in all major regions, and will have a key role in supporting the firm in its growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required (Technology, or Business preferred)
• 15+ years experience desirable
• Depth of experience in Private Markets required; either from asset servicing, or directly from within Private Markets and Fund employers
• Strong Private Markets network, preferably globally
• Outstanding Leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Technology assessments, related client solutioning and driving a differentiated offering are the main responsibilities of this role.
• Provide subject matter expertise - strong background in the private markets space and have a solid understanding of the technology needs for Private Market clients and the end-to-end strategic operating model and technology stack.
• Drive solutions - lead and partner with teams across our global organization to define and solution critical deals and to ensure that the relevant subject matter experts are consulted, and that critical design assumptions and strategic options are thoroughly explored. Ability to develop solutions that can be deployed for complex clients
• Organize and conduct technology assessment and implementation project status meetings, including communicating status to internal, senior management and external stakeholders. Technology assessments may include but not limited to the following:
• Fund Analysis and Onboarding - Analyze funds scheduled for onboarding, identify required waterfall and management fee algorithms.
• Testing & Validation - Assist with UAT for functionalities; align with business requirements. Validate fund admin datasets, including reconciliation of NAV and P&L at entity, investment and investor levels.
• Work with State Street’s strategic data platform to integrate and align fund data for reporting and operational accuracy
• Represent State Street at industry events/conferences and hold internal/external product office hours
• Research & Market Analysis - Ensure key technology vendor and competitor intelligence is updated continuously, and emerging industry trends are captured where relevant
• Provide support in Request for Information / Proposals, ensuring quality responses
• Provide any required Post-sales interaction and guidance to support the smooth implementation of the proposed solution
