About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager with a strong background in private wealth and high-net-worth tax services to join a growing public accounting team. This role is ideal for a CPA who is passionate about tax strategy, client advisory, and mentoring emerging professionals—while working in a firm culture that prioritizes growth and balanced workloads. The Tax Manager will serve as both a technical leader and trusted advisor, managing complex engagements and delivering proactive tax solutions tailored to high-net-worth individuals and closely held entities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA-certified with active license required
5+ years of tax experience in public accounting
2+ years of managerial experience preferred
Expertise in Individual, Gift, Estate, and Trust tax compliance
Experience providing advisory and tax planning solutions to high-net-worth clients
Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills
Self-motivated, growth-oriented, and collaborative mindset
Ability to work in-office or hybrid schedule preferred

Responsibilities

Lead and manage tax engagements with urgency and attention to client needs
Oversee preparation and review of Individual, Gift, Estate, and Trust income tax returns
Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services for private wealth clients
Develop client relationships and deliver proactive recommendations
Mentor and guide junior and senior staff members
Collaborate with Senior Managers and Partners on complex tax matters
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through technology and automation
Manage multiple engagements, deadlines, and client expectations simultaneously
