You will work alongside two highly professional and experienced teams within Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, contributing to a collaborative, high-performing wealth management practice. We are expanding and seeking a Private Client Associate to join our team and grow with us. The Role You will play a critical role in delivering an exceptional experience to our clients and driving the long-term success of our team.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of industry experience preferred; Series 7 and Series 66 (or Series 63/65) registration a plus
  • Strong ethical standards, high attention to detail, and a client-first mindset
  • Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication abilities
  • Organized and proactive, able to manage time effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Interest in advanced financial planning, wealth transfer, and family governance
  • Collaborative spirit and ability to thrive in a high-performing team environment
  • Ideally located within about 40 minutes of Mystic, Connecticut, or willing to relocate to support close collaboration with our team and clients

Responsibilities

  • Supporting Financial Advisors across both teams in managing and growing relationships with multigenerational families
  • Preparing financial planning analyses, account documentation, and client meeting materials
  • Coordinating onboarding and service for new and existing accounts, ensuring operational excellence
  • Assisting with the implementation of portfolio strategies and wealth planning initiatives
  • Managing client communications, scheduling, and proactive follow-up
  • Utilizing firm technology to streamline processes and respond quickly to client and advisor requests
  • Providing excellent telephone and written communication, ensuring prompt, accurate, and professional service
