About The Position

As a Private Client Advisor at Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA), you will be responsible for diving into client exposures, loss experiences, and current coverages to recommend tailored products and services. Your role will involve presenting clients with accurate market data, helping them navigate complex risks, and providing proactive day-to-day client service. You will gather important information about clients' risk management needs and financial loss tolerance, evaluate and propose solutions, and create renewal proposals. Success in this role will be measured by client retention and new business development through referrals and expanded client programs. Additionally, you will negotiate with multiple insurance carriers to offer comprehensive coverage options while ensuring compliance with industry laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years' personal lines insurance experience with High Net Worth clientele
  • Property & Casualty (P&C) License
  • Client service orientation with balance on managing expectations
  • Ability to travel for client and company meetings as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Professional designations such as CPCU, CIC, CPRIA, etc.
  • Previous experience with luxury carriers, such as AIG, Chubb, PURE

Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive day-to-day client service, anticipating clients' needs and addressing questions or issues.
  • Gather information about clients' risk management needs and financial loss tolerance.
  • Evaluate and propose a variety of solutions to manage risks effectively.
  • Create and present renewal proposals to existing clients.
  • Conduct engaging annual Client Advisory reviews.
  • Measure success through client retention and new business development via referrals and expanded client programs.
  • Negotiate with multiple insurance carriers to offer comprehensive coverage options.
