The Private Chef is responsible for preparing and cooking meals tailored to the preferences and dietary needs of individuals, families, or small groups in private households.   • Create customized menus based on the client's dietary preferences, allergies, and nutritional requirements.
  • Prepare and cook meals to the highest standard, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
  • Source fresh, high-quality ingredients from local markets or trusted suppliers.
  • Manage inventory and ensure pantry and fridge are adequately stocked.
  • Adapt recipes and meal plans to accommodate special diets, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or other specific requirements.
  • Stay informed about nutrition and wellness trends to provide expert advice.
  • Plan and execute meals for private events, dinner parties, or special occasions hosted by the client.
  • Collaborate with additional staff or vendors if needed for larger gatherings.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Monitor food and supply expenses, keeping costs within an agreed budget.
  • Provide expense reports and receipts when necessary.
  • Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in private households, luxury settings, or fine dining restaurants.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Strong knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniques.
  • Understanding of nutrition and special dietary requirements.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Professional demeanor, discretion, and adaptability.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (may be required).
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
