Private Caregiver, Part time 10am-4pm
About The Position
We seek a professional, experienced caregiver available to work 12 hours per week (every Tuesday and Thursday) 10A-4P (the hours are set) caring for a client in the Richmond/Sugarland & South West area. Engage with the client through companionship and emotional support to promote mental stimulation and overall well-being. Assist with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, medication management, and toileting. Engage with the client through companionship and emotional support to promote mental stimulation and over-all well being. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet dietary needs. Maintain cleanliness in resident living areas, including laundry and housekeeping tasks. Monitor residents’ health and report any changes in condition to the agency Administrator. Requirements
- Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices.
- Ability to cook nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements.
- Proficient in maintaining cleanliness and organization within living spaces.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with the client, family, co-workers, and agency Administrators.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to lift and assist residents safely while adhering to proper techniques.
- Knowledge of resident rights and commitment to providing respectful care.
- Dependable and equipped with reliable transportation to ensure punctuality and consistent availability.
- Dedicated professional with a strong work ethic and a proven ability to consistently honor work schedule commitments
- 3-5 years of experience is required
