About The Position

As a Private Banking Associate, your day will be filled with opportunities to service existing clients and develop additional business opportunities by creating stronger and more diverse, well-rounded relationships with existing SYB clientele and their familial relations.

Requirements

• BS/BA in business, finance or related field
• Minimum 4 years of customer service experience with a financial services firm, preferably in the banking sector
• Proven ability to give exceptional customer service
• Self-starter and ability to solve unique customer service issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor

Responsibilities

• Offer exceptional service for existing bank customers who require personal assistance with their household depository accounts, loans, or ancillary bank services
• Develop additional business with existing bank customers whether for the Associate's portfolio or as referrals to other bank partners across all lines of business
• Mine for new household deposit accounts and loan opportunities with existing WM&T customers as referred by WM&T advisors
• Create deeper relationships with Next Generation customers from WM&T and Private Banking by developing strategies to strengthen and retain relationships
• Manage a diverse portfolio of consumer deposit accounts and loans
• Meet or exceed goals for internal prospecting calls and bank-wide referrals
• Support Bank's commitment to community involvement by serving on external charitable Board of Directors and by attending functions
• Perform other duties as assigned
