Requirements

  • Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service and consultative sales skills
  • Proficient computer skills, including CRM and related software applications
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the Bank’s market
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.) in Business Management, Finance, or a related field normally required
  • Minimum of three (3) years of banking experience in a Financial Services Advisor, Retail Lending, Relationship Manager, Business Development Officer, or similar role normally required

Responsibilities

  • Develops and manages a select portfolio of affluent, high‑net‑worth, COI, and professional banking relationships by performing the following:
  • Jointly establishes annual quantitative and qualitative sales and customer service objectives with the assigned supervisor and/or Director of Private Client Group; monitors progress monthly in alignment with the Business Line’s budgeting and sales plan.
  • Solicits new business from existing and prospective clients and maintains ongoing relationships through a proactive, disciplined approach to drive growth and meet client needs.
  • Provides timely sales, activity, and client contact information to support performance measurement and reporting.
  • Monitors individual performance against established goals; reviews results monthly with management and develops strategies to capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Maintains a thorough knowledge of Bank products and services to accurately assess client needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Collects and analyzes financial, credit, and related information; provides direct service to PCG prospects and clients related to deposits, loans, and other banking services; negotiates loan structures and covenants within authority; meets or exceeds referral goals at target levels.
  • Communicates loan requests and key information to the appropriate underwriting teams.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for clients, coordinating specialized services with Business Line partners as needed and resolving service issues efficiently.
  • Identifies additional business opportunities and actively refers clients to appropriate internal partners.
  • Commits to full utilization of the Bank’s Client Relationship Model to improve client service, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Complies with all Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including CRA, BSA, ECOA, and other applicable laws and regulations.
  • Coordinates tasks with coworkers across departments to ensure efficient processes and proper segregation of duties.
  • Reports pertinent information to management as requested or according to established schedules.
  • Communicates effectively with management and staff to integrate goals and activities.
  • Responds to internal and external inquiries within established timeframes and policy guidelines.
