About The Position

The Privacy Program Manager (PPM) at TikTok is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the privacy and data protection initiatives within the product team. Requirements

• 5+ years of project management experience, preferably managing large scale global projects.
• Experience with compliance, privacy, and risk management is highly recommended.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to navigate across multiple teams, countries, and cultures.

• Capable of driving large scale compliance and privacy projects by breaking down milestones and defining action plans for various teams.
• Solid understanding of product development process with extensive experience working with engineers and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex projects with tight timelines and work with internal stakeholders to establish roadmaps and communicate timelines and deliverables.
• Manage product feature launch review process in close collaboration with product managers and legal team.
• Partner with global counterparts across product, engineers, legal and others to identify and mitigate key risks in privacy by design process.
• Enhance TikTok privacy maturity by strengthening privacy by design and compliance review process.
• Develop a strong understanding of business and technical requirements and obligations for compliance and data protection.
