About The Position

The Oregon Department of Corrections is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to serve as our Records Management Supervisor 2 (Prison Term Analyst Manager) in Wilsonville, Oregon. You will provide leadership and oversight for the OISC Prison Term Analysts, you will ensure accurate and timely sentence computations and records management within the Department of Corrections (DOC). In this role you will be responsible for managing daily operations, supervising staff, developing workload management systems, ensuring compliance with laws and policies, and contribute to strategic planning efforts. You will play a critical role in maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism within the unit while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for managing and directing Prison Term Analysts by planning, assigning, supervising, and evaluating staff performance. You will establish work schedules and coverage plans, overseeing recruitment and training, and will resolve employee job-related is-sues while ensuring adherence to the AFSCME Security Plus Collective Bargaining Agreement. In this role you will foster a professional, efficient, and harassment-free work environment while maintaining strong professional relationships with DOC staff, the Department of Justice, District Attorneys, and other criminal justice organizations. In addition, you will assist in setting and achieving OISC strategic goals, develops workload management systems, and ensure compliance with Oregon Revised Statutes, DOC policies, and administrative rules. You will help lead process improvement initiatives, evaluate policies and legislative changes, assist with budget preparation, and reallocate resources as needed based on population forecasts and procedural updates. You may also provide backup supervision for other OISC units and may serve as interim Administrator as necessary. Operational oversight includes collaborating with institution management teams on AIC sentence calculation issues, preparing and approving reports, business plans, and operational statements, and responding to public and institutional inquiries. You will lead presentations and training sessions for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and efficiency within the Prison Term Analyst Unit and broader OISC operations.

Requirements

  • Four (4) years of lead work, supervision, or progressively related experience; OR one (1) year of related experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

  • Experience in records management, legal document processing, or corrections-related administrative work.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills with experience managing teams in a structured environment, including workload planning, staff development, and performance management.
  • Skilled in policy analysis, legislative review, and implementing workload management systems.
  • Experience leading process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and compliance with statutory and policy requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences, including internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of Oregon sentencing laws, DOC policies, and administrative rules.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across multiple agencies.
  • Possess a Law Enforcement Database System (LEDS) Certification
