About The Position
The Prior Authorization Specialist plays a critical role in the financial clearance process for BJC HealthCare, ensuring that appropriate authorizations and Notices of Admission (NOA) are secured to prevent patient rescheduling and revenue loss. This position involves obtaining authorizations on behalf of physicians and maintaining positive relationships with various stakeholders, while ensuring accurate patient data is recorded.
