Aloha~ The major function of this position is to perform all print production tasks for custom cases and lens cleaning cloths while providing excellent customer-focused service and teamwork.

Requirements

  • High School graduate with 1-2 years production or mechanical environment.
  • Ability to communicate in a variety of business settings and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good hand-eye coordination.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Team Player.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate digital UV inkjet printers for sunglass case custom printing.
  • Retrieve and process computer art files for printing (Mac, Adobe Illustrator).
  • Test and check color of printing to customer approved proofs.
  • Maximize productivity and output of the printing process.
  • Accurately package and label product while printing.
  • Transfer digitally printed images to lens cleaning cloths.
  • Evaluate color to customer approved proof, initially and throughout the run.
  • Cut transfers, pull material, transfer images to cloths, maintain counts.
  • Maintain a standard rate of production while minimizing rejects.
  • Peel, inspect, touchup, pack and label transferred cloths.
  • Perform basic daily maintenance of the printing and transfer equipment.
  • Set up and operate Pad Printing machine for sunglass case custom printing.
  • Make plates, mix inks, set up press.
  • Print cases ensuring consistent quality, pack and label.
  • Develop skills to be backup for art preparation, transfer printing, and order entry.
  • Maintain at least minimum production and accuracy standards as set by dept.
  • Communicate and contribute ideas to supervisor and team to ensure department is moving toward goals.
  • Present flexibility and maturity in working with your team members.
  • Perform all other work related duties as requested or required.
