Responsibilities

  • Lead & Manage Printing Team: Actively supervise and motivate the team to deliver top-notch print products.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Production Supervisor, Process Engineer, and Estimator to optimize manufacturing processes. Additionally, partner with Receiving and Shipping Supervisors for facility-wide leadership.
  • Team Development: Provide training, coaching, and professional development to team members. Foster focus and drive within the team.
  • Process Optimization: Monitor equipment, maintenance, and supplies to minimize downtime and ensure a smooth production flow.
  • Innovation: Assist in the creation of new products and drive continuous improvement in production processes.
  • Budget Management: Oversee and manage the production budget effectively to ensure cost-efficiency.
  • Safety: Foster a safe working environment by conducting safety inspections, walkthroughs, and promoting safe working habits.
  • Special Projects: Take on process improvement initiatives, training development programs, and other special projects as needed.

Requirements

  • At least five years of proven experience in printing operations, with a strong understanding of printing processes and production workflows.
  • Must have previous supervisory experience with a focus on coaching, training, and team development.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve company goals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to address and resolve operational challenges.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A commitment to safety and efficiency in the workplace.
