About The Position

Loparex LLC is the world's largest manufacturer of extrusion base and silicone coated release liners for the converting industry. We have manufacturing operations throughout the U.S., Europe, China, and India. The Malvern facility annually supplies three billion square feet of release liner worldwide. We are currently looking for high energy, safety focused and motivated individuals to join our Malvern, PA workforce as Press Helper. Must be able to work 24/7 rotating shifts working 2 weeks of days and 2 weeks of nights including 2 weekends a month. Overtime availability.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED, or previous work experience to meet the job expectations.
  • Ability to use hand tools.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to read and write.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Basic math skills and ability to take accurate measurements.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend and kneel for up to 12 hours.
  • Previous operator experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Know, understand, & follow all applicable safety, environmental, & quality requirements.
  • Assist in operating press in a manner supportive of all company production goals and objectives.
  • Monitor manufacturing process & product; inform and advise Press Operator and/or Second Operator if problems are detected, take corrective action within limits of technical capabilities.
  • Understand and follow manufacturing instructions and schedules.
  • Assist with setup, operation, cleanup, and routine maintenance of printing press and press auxiliary equipment.
  • Accurately complete production records and entries in reporting systems.
  • Maintain housekeeping and workplace organization in compliance with 5S and GMP standards.
  • Actively support and participate in continuous improvement activities.
  • Clean and prepare cylinders, sleeves, doctor blades, ink chambers, and other items directly used in the printing process.
  • Assist in maintaining and documenting inventory of raw and in-process materials, supplies, and packing materials used in printing operations.
  • Mix inks, coatings, and solvents as needed according to established recipes and work instructions.
  • Assist with maintaining mechanical print quality as required by customer and company quality standards.
  • Prepare, load, and unload materials as required to maintain a continuous running print process.
  • Monitor material status and availability and keep the press operator informed of upcoming needs.
  • Perform any other duties that may be assigned to our jobs.
