About The Position

CCL Label Robbinsville, New Jersey is part of CCL Industries a world leader in specialty labeling and packaging solutions for our global customers. The Robbinsville location specializes in pressure sensitive labels for home and personal care products. We are seeking for Full-time Press Assistants for 2nd shift (2pm-10pm) and 3rd shift (10pm-6am). Press Assistants are responsible for assisting Press Operators as necessary by ensuring proper supplies and equipment are available to run jobs. This is an entry-level position.

Requirements

Must have good mechanical skills and be able to use basic hand tools.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and be able to bend, reach, climb, push, pull and stand for long periods.
Must be reliable and punctual, with a positive attitude.
Must be self-motivated, and able to work independently while working safely around operating machinery.
Must be open to work overtime and weekends as needed.
High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
Experience working in a high tech manufacturing environment desired.

Responsibilities

Ensures Printing Press Operators have the proper materials and supplies.
Reviews Press schedule and stages orders for Press Operators.
Helps set up new jobs by installing plates, cylinders, rollers, dies and screens.
Ensures rolls of raw material are mounted on unwind shaft during production run.
Disassembles, cleans and reassembles ink trays/chambers. Mounts printing plates, stage jobs and relieves operator during breaks as needed.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
