Printing Engineer - ARG Pre-Process
About The Position
Duties: Responsible to supervisor, follow supervisor's and Coordinators work plan and arrangement. Shift operation and production daily report. Responsible for adjusting the pre-positioning and positioning of products, to complete glass printing tasks. Applies knowledge of mechanical positioning systems to finetune product alignment, optimizing print accuracy. Responsible for solving the quality, process problems from the printing process. In accordance with the technical requirements, adjust the printing parameters, to achieve the best printing quality. Responsible for testing the thickness and quality of printing; unqualified product's isolation and spot check and first check. Responsible for checking the packaging of the ink, the appearance inspection. stirring according to process requirements (clean containers and stirrer), measuring the viscosity of ink, fill in "ink test "records. Responsible for rewashing own line rework glass, and filter used ink. Responsible for logo printing on printing products; to ensure that the logo format in line with international / national laws and regulations, to ensure product's safety, regulatory. Responsible for keeping printing technical documents. Responsible for receiving and replacing scraper, squeeze, knife. Monitor and keep the cleaning of work position, equipment, Personal Protection Equipment, tools. Identify workplace environment factor, hazard resource and control method. Understand and monitor materials safety list for responsible area. Strictly implement the regulations of comprehensive management system.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline or foreign equivalent and 2 years’ experience in the following:
- performing equipment startup, shutdown, product changeover, and parameter adjustments.
- training and mentoring employees onsite, assisting new staff in mastering operating procedures and quality standards.
- printing quality, process, and equipment requirements, and resolve quality and process issues during printing operations
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
