About The Position

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Electronics Technology or related field
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in consumer electronics industry
• Proficient use and thorough knowledge of PCB design best practices and design standards
• Expert proficiency using ECAD tools
• Thorough knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes
• Ability to interpret basic design intent from schematics
• Proficiency using personal computers and Microsoft Office applications

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Cadence Allegro
• Working knowledge of all types of electronic components
• Working knowledge of electronic circuits theory of operation

Responsibilities

• Set up data for complex high speed designs
• Ensure manufacturability is maintained in each design
• Independently determine general approach and provide reliable solutions to technical problems
• Help determine feasibility of project goals and objectives
• Collaborate and add value to engineering design reviews
• Contribute to testing out tools introduced to the team and process improvements
