About The Position

Responsible for pre-press, color management, creating samples, and providing print solutions support to the sales team for pre and post sales needs for prospects and existing customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare files for print and produce printed materials on digital printers. Print stock samples for Sales/Marketing kits for tradeshows, open house events and dealers. Assist with customer demonstrations as well as producing samples and trade show support. Conduct product demonstrations, document solutions and workflows, and provide training in the demo room at customer locations and during road shows. Complete required maintenance of the print machines as scheduled. Maintain local demo rooms and ensure an overall quality presentation. Order inks, media or other inventory and arrange for disposal of such on a regular basis. Other duties may be assigned. Application Role Requirements: Support Customers by providing: Hands-on Application Assistance at the customer’s site or Demo Room Consultative support for various customer issues Tailor training to customer’s application needs or issues Serve as the in-house expert for testing designs through: establishing test protocols troubleshooting program issues Assist the Sales Group in providing pre-sales application support or samples Partner with other Application employees within Mimaki Global Perform Demos utilizing best practices Respond to, address, and resolve application problems raised by customers Provide additional in house and customer-based training Observe and communicate customer workflow and communicate potential sales opportunities Understand the Mimaki print process and recommend adjustments Understand the application of all chemicals and inks along with their function in the printing process

Requirements

• Associate's degree from an accredited institute and/or 2+ years’ business experience
• Ability to work collaboratively and individually with internal and external teams
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
• A high degree of organizational skill and a sense of urgency leaning towards execution
• Valid Driver License
• Able travel roughly 50% to 75% of the time.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation & communication skills.
• Proficient on Company-provided hardware and software on Mac and PC platforms.
• Proficient on Adobe Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

Nice To Haves

• Mechanical Aptitude preferred.
• Previous Digital Printing Experience.
• Preferred experience with Onyx and third-party RIP software's.
