About The Position

The Technician - Print Shop is responsible for project printing production to completion. Work would include updating templates, printing quantities, completing by adding grommets, or applying to corrugated if needed, and distributing print materials to account managers. What your day will look like: Production of banners and various forms of Point of Purchase (POP) Prepare banners and POP for pickup and delivery Installing POP and signage at retail outlets as needed Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management

Requirements

Minimum age 18 years old
Valid driver’s license required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
Ability to read, write and speak English
Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 6 months to 1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from different levels of the organization
Ability to problem solve
Ability to follow directions
Must have the ability to operate various design software and hardware
Must have a natural ability to visualize design, dimension, scale, and the skills to generate solutions for challenging print jobs and volume of print work
Good time management skills needed
Excellent math skills needed to determine dimensions to apply to sign layouts and print work
Customer service friendly
Ability to lift up to 60lbs daily
Will be required to stand on a ladder to apply graphics in customer accounts
