About The Position

The Print Production Specialist is responsible for coordinating the production of printed materials and print-related services for clients. This role involves maintaining positive client relations throughout the manufacturing process, from initial contact to final product delivery, while managing high-profile accounts and mentoring junior staff.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED with 5+ years of relevant client service, administrative, or operational support experience in manufacturing operations or office environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of functional areas related to the job and ability to apply applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and program objectives.
  • Working knowledge of systems such as MS Office, MAC, Google Suite, or other job-specific programs.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective inter-departmental communication.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and prioritize workload.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan and coordinate major aspects of projects/production independently and with production leadership.
  • Provide and/or develop unique solutions to client concerns, process improvement, invoice reconciliation, and proof of deliveries.
  • Build and maintain client relationships through effective consultation and execution of plans.
  • Establish priorities to meet business demands, often managing high-profile or complex accounts.
  • Mentor junior-level staff by providing quality reviews, sharing knowledge, and demonstrating expertise.
  • Ensure job instructions are entered and verified in manufacturing systems and queued into the production schedule.
  • Provide pre-sales support with clients, discussing manufacturing capabilities and requirements.
  • Assist sales with pricing and scheduling of potential business by referring to price sheets and engaging appropriate operations departments.
  • Work with sales and clients on Kitting, Warehousing, and Distribution needs as required.
  • Maintain a complete understanding of work performed to assemble appropriate paperwork for timely billing.
  • Determine supplies and paper needed for jobs, including vendor coordination for product components.
  • Assist sales in the RFP process and may have responsibility for composition and/or copy prep of client products.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned.
