We are often asked if this role is in a store, it is not. Staples has dedicated print facilities to handle large print orders that originate from our stores. As a Print Production Facility Lead, you will be collaborative and inclusive in helping our customers meet their copy and print needs while being part of a fun, team-oriented culture. Our print facilities are not typically customer facing as larger orders from our stores are sent to our print facilities to complete. You'll produce and finish large copy, print and signage orders coming into our local Print Facility using high volume digital and signage equipment. You'll ensure that the production team is providing all customers with high quality print orders while coordinating & prioritizing all aspects of the production process. Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a Digital Copy & Print or Manufacturing environment
• 1+ of years leading a team
• Attention to detail and sound organizational skills
• Experience managing multiple priorities
• Ability to read & interpret instructions, identify problems/missing information and address them proactively
• Computer Skills: Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Acrobat, Adobe Creative Suite, Publisher.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction, oversight, training, and coaching to Production Facility team members
• Oversee the quality process of all jobs before, during and post production
• Follow production workflow using high volume digital print equipment
• Effectively prepare and troubleshoot various files formats and change to PDF print-ready status
• Contract services with outside vendors and other production facilities to meet customer deadlines
• Work with facility managers to improve productivity, processes, staffing, and any performance issues
• Be flexible to perform other duties as assigned; may also serve as back up driver
