The Flexo Print Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing Southern Champion Tray's flexographic printing operations, ensuring exceptional quality, safety, and efficiency across all processes. This role includes managing team performance, overseeing key performance indicators (KPIs), and driving continuous improvement to meet organizational goals, with a focus on the installation and operational launch of a new Heidelberg Boardmaster press set to be delivered in 2025.

Lead and optimize flexographic printing operations to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency.
Manage team performance and oversee key performance indicators (KPIs).
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet organizational goals.
Oversee the installation and operational launch of the new Heidelberg Boardmaster press in 2025.
Build and lead a high-performing team in Pre-press and Flexo Print Operations.
Develop and implement training programs to enhance technical skills and team performance.
Monitor and analyze KPIs and performance metrics to assess operational effectiveness.
Develop and execute strategic plans to improve quality, productivity, and efficiency.
Ensure all products meet or exceed quality standards and customer expectations.
Implement and uphold safety policies and standards, conducting regular safety audits.

Proven experience managing press operations (minimum 3 years preferred).
Extensive experience in flexographic printing processes and equipment (10 years preferred).
Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not required for highly experienced candidates.
Strong leadership and team-building abilities with a proven track record of success.
Advanced knowledge of flexographic printing equipment and processes.
Excellent analytical skills and experience working with KPIs and operational metrics.
Strategic planning and implementation skills to achieve operational goals.
Strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Experience with Heidelberg Boardmaster press operations.
Knowledge of safety compliance regulations in printing operations.
