The position involves performing high speed, high volume production tasks such as printing and inserting to process checks, cards, and inserts. The operator will set up equipment, load materials, clear jams, and handle other simple malfunctions as needed. Maintaining productivity on all machines while delivering a quality product and meeting production deadlines is essential. The role requires following company operational procedures and policies to produce accurate and quality work in a timely manner, paying close attention to detail when printing and inserting client files according to specific set-up instructions. The operator will complete and maintain operator reports and logs, including output and productivity, and maintain accurate check, insert, and postage logs. Additionally, the operator will perform maintenance and make adjustments to the system as needed, keep machines and the work area clean, restock supplies, and help maintain and track inventories. The role may involve training and assisting less-experienced operators and may require interaction with various departments to resolve production problems.
