The Fabrication Specialist will enjoy following well-defined procedures that result in high-quality world-class products for Britten’s customers. This person will thrive in a collaborative work environment while assisting with the efficient operations of the digital printing equipment.

Requirements

  • Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment, have the ability to multitask and work independently, and reflect a positive attitude towards challenging job requirements
  • Keen eye for quality of product
  • Ability to work before/after typical hours as work may demand
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to use computers
  • Ability to use machinery/mechanically inclined
  • Quality assurance and quality control-minded
  • Aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Act as support staff to the Fabrication Manager
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area
  • Operating cutting machinery
  • Feeding/catching materials during press operation
  • Complete multi-shipment kit pack projects
  • Operating sewing machine
  • Packaging
  • Observing print quality to assure customer satisfaction
  • Learning and operating forklifts in a safe manner
  • Upholding all safety policies and procedures
