Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated engineer to join the DRAM Systems Engineering team, focusing on the design, evaluation, and optimization of next-generation memory systems for AI accelerators. The role emphasizes research and development across hardware architecture, operating systems, and performance analysis to support AI inference workloads.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Strong background in memory systems, operating systems, distributed systems, or parallel computing
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python with hands-on systems programming experience
• Experience working in Linux environments, including shell scripting and debugging tools
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and in teams

Nice To Haves

• Experience with advanced memory technologies such as HBM and LPDDR
• Familiarity with AI/ML systems, particularly inference workloads
• Experience with GPU programming frameworks such as CUDA or OpenCL
• Knowledge of performance analysis and system-level optimization techniques
• Experience with Linux kernel memory management or system-level simulation models

Responsibilities

• Characterize AI inference workloads and analyze memory behavior
• Design and evaluate tiered memory hierarchies for AI accelerators
• Study KV cache lifecycles, MoE models, and data placement strategies
• Compare and optimize explicit versus hardware-assisted data movement
• Develop, test, debug, and document system-level and OS components
