About The Position

The Principal Scientist, Health Economics will play a crucial role in the strategic development and application of high-quality economic models to generate insights and demonstrate the value of the company's products to stakeholders. This position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to refine value evidence strategies and support market access throughout the product development cycle.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree or master's degree in Health Economics, Biostatistics, Actuarial Sciences, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in HEOR within the pharmaceutical industry or relevant organizations.
• Expertise in conceptualization, design, development, and dissemination of health economic analyses.
• Understanding of market access environments and challenges in key markets such as the US, Canada, UK, EU4, China, and Japan.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Strong track record of innovative HTA submissions and development of health economic resources.
• Experience in assessing economic value of early products.
• Experience in cardiovascular/metabolic diseases, antiviral therapies, immunology, neuroscience, and/or ophthalmology.
• Demonstrated strategic and innovative thinking.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic insights into the development and refinement of integrated value evidence strategy and evidence generation from a health economics perspective.
• Develop and maintain high-quality global health economic analyses and tools, collaborating with external vendors as necessary.
• Conduct evidence generation and synthesis studies to inform economic models and value evidence strategy.
• Adapt and train global health economic resources for regional/local HEOR teams to support HTA submissions and market access activities.
• Disseminate health economic data through presentations at congresses and publications in scientific journals.
• Advance health economic methodologies to capture broader benefits of health technology interventions.
