Requirements

  • 5+ years product development engineering, hardware test, validation, debug and\or bring-up, preferably on boards with embedded systems
  • 4+ years developing test & validation FW for multi-core ARM-based embedded systems
  • 1+ years global technical customer support
  • Proficiency in C\C++, MATLAB & Python
  • Knowledge with NVMe, SAS and\or SATA
  • Experience with firmware debugging tools such as JTAG and In-Circuit Emulator
  • Ability to read and understand circuit schematics
  • Good verbal and written skills for communication and documentation
  • Knowledge of analog and digital electronic hardware debugging
  • Experience in handling test common electronic test equipment like oscilloscopes

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in current HDD and\or SSD technologies, particularly SSD and HDD embedded controllers
  • Knowledge of HDD principles and operation
  • Working knowledge of communications theory and signal processing topics

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for conducting functional and performance validation on HDD SOC. This includes power analysis and performing electrical characterization across process, voltage, temperature corners.
  • Responsibilities also include test plan development, test automation and test report generation.
  • Work with design and validation teams to debug and resolve issues raised by both internal and external customers.
  • Provide technical support to Field Application Engineers, Test Engineers, Documentation team and customers.
