About The Position

We are seeking an experienced, visionary, and student-centered Principal to lead our 6-12 school community. The Principal will oversee all aspects of school operations, instruction, and culture for both middle and high school levels. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in educational leadership, a strong understanding of adolescent development, and a commitment to fostering academic excellence and personal growth for all students.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or a related field.
  • Valid administrative certification/license required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of classroom teaching experience and at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of secondary curriculum, assessment practices, and student support systems.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Expertise in fostering collaboration among grade-level teams and departments.

Responsibilities

  • Establish a clear vision for academic success and ensure alignment with district, state, and national standards.
  • Lead the design and implementation of rigorous, engaging curriculum for grades 6-12.
  • Support teachers in delivering high-quality instruction through coaching, professional development, and performance evaluations.
  • Use data to monitor student progress, drive instructional decisions, and address achievement gaps.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful school environment where all students and staff feel valued and supported.
  • Promote high expectations for student behavior, academic achievement, and social responsibility.
  • Build strong relationships with students, staff, families, and community members.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the school, including facilities, budgeting, scheduling, and compliance with policies.
  • Ensure the safety and security of the school environment by implementing and monitoring emergency plans and safety protocols.
  • Manage resources effectively to support instructional goals and school priorities.
  • Recruit, hire, and retain high-quality staff who are committed to the school's mission and values.
  • Conduct regular observations and evaluations to provide actionable feedback to teachers and support staff.
  • Encourage collaboration and teamwork among faculty to enhance professional learning communities (PLCs).
  • Establish and maintain strong communication with parents, guardians, and community stakeholders.
  • Actively involve families in the school community through events, meetings, and advisory groups.
  • Partner with local organizations to provide additional resources and opportunities for students.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive school improvement plan with measurable goals.
  • Monitor progress and adjust strategies to meet the evolving needs of students and staff.
  • Ensure equity and access for all students, including those with special needs and English Language Learners.
