About The Position

The Principal at Francis Marion Intermediate Elementary School is responsible for providing leadership and administrative skills to foster the educational development of students in grades 3 and 4. This role involves being an instructional leader, managing school operations, and ensuring compliance with educational laws and policies. The Principal will work collaboratively with the Marion Independent School District team to promote academic excellence and support the well-being of each student.

Requirements

  • A master's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
  • A valid Iowa administrative license or ability to obtain.
  • A valid Iowa evaluator approval or ability to obtain.
  • A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, preferably at the appropriate level.
  • Prior leadership experience as an administrator or teacher leader preferred.
