About The Position

The Principal at Francis Marion Intermediate Elementary School will serve as an instructional leader dedicated to fostering a community of learners and promoting the academic success and well-being of each student. This role involves providing leadership, supervision, and administrative skills to ensure effective school operations and adherence to educational standards. The Principal will collaborate with the Marion Independent School District team to implement the district's mission and core values, focusing on academic excellence and community engagement.

Requirements

  • A master's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
  • A valid Iowa administrative license or ability to obtain.
  • A valid Iowa evaluator approval or ability to obtain.
  • A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, preferably at the appropriate level.
  • Prior leadership experience as an administrator or teacher leader preferred.
