About The Position

T&M Associates is looking for a Principal Water Engineer to join our growing Columbus, Ohio office. We’re seeking an experienced professional with 7+ years in water and wastewater planning, design, and construction administration, ready to lead impactful projects and guide multi-discipline teams. T&M Associates is committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation practices in compliance with applicable laws. T&M estimates that the salary range for this position will fall between $104,500 - $135,000 . The actual salary offered may vary within this range, depending on a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, educational qualifications, specific skills and knowledge, as well as internal pay equity and geographic location. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental Engineering, or a related field (required)
7+ years of progressive experience in water/wastewater process, treatment, and distribution projects
MS Office and MS Project experience required
Strong communication skills with proven ability to work with clients and cross-discipline teams

Nice To Haves

2+ years of project management experience preferred
Ohio Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D desired

Responsibilities

Lead planning and design for municipal and industrial water/wastewater infrastructure projects
Manage budgets, schedules, deliverables, and technical documentation from design through construction
Oversee complex projects, including Design Reports, bidding, and construction phases
Develop proposals, budgets, and technical strategies for new opportunities
Build and maintain strong client relationships through active engagement
Assemble and mentor multi-discipline teams, providing guidance to junior staff
