About The Position

At Angi®, we’ve had one simple mission for 30 years: get jobs done well. We make it happen by connecting homeowners with reliable pros who have the skills they need — and connecting pros with homeowners who have the jobs they want. Angi's UX Research team, part of a multidisciplinary UX group, develops innovative home services experiences for homeowners and service professionals, spanning digital and physical interactions. We aim to redefine home services by creating simple solutions to complex problems. We value exploration, rapid iteration, and attention to detail, actively participating in every project phase from discovery to optimization. Our team possesses deep design knowledge and collaborates with interdisciplinary groups to deliver effective solutions for both sides of our marketplace. The UX Team at Angi is looking for a contract Principal level Design Strategist to lead a qualitative and ethnographic initiative focused on uncovering the deep, latent needs of homeowners across the entire lifecycle of home services. This work is foundational; its output will directly inform product and service strategy for Angi's core marketplace. This is a temporary remote position that offers the opportunity to work on a part-time or full-time basis. The hourly rate for this role ranges between $80.00-$100.00/hour.
