We are seeking a Principal UAS/C-UAS Program Advisor who will support executive-level leadership and provide subject matter expertise (SME) to the Army Material Command (AMC), focusing on the development, deployment, production, and maintenance of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and counter-unmanned aircraft systems (C-UAS). The role involves shaping UAS/C-UAS policies and ensuring their effective implementation to advance AMC’s mission. As the primary SME for the Army Protection Program, this position conducts C-UAS equipment evaluations and concept-of-operations (CONOPS) assessments at Organic Industrial Base (OIB) facilities. Additionally, the candidate researches, evaluates, and analyzes UAS/C-UAS technologies, providing technical and industrial insights to support the Sky Foundry program.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree
- 20 years of experience including 3 years developing national level UAS policy
- Experience developing national/international standards for small UAS
- Strong familiarity with AMC’s mission including the mission and structure of the Organic Industrial Base (OIB)
- Must have an in-scope DoD Secret security clearance
Responsibilities
