About The Position
BAE Systems, one of the world's largest defense contractors, is hiring a detailed, highly organized Principal Training Specialist (Program Excellence Learning Business Partner) to develop, coordinate, and deliver training materials for our Program Management Team at CMS. The Program Excellence team provides strategic and thought leadership to Project, Program, and Portfolio Management for the Combat Mission Systems (CMS) business area with annual sales of approximately $3B and about 160 program managers. The Program Excellence Learning Business Partner is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of program managers within the organization. This includes creating and implementing training curricula, workshops, and other educational events to support the development of program management competencies. The work will involve frequent interaction with program managers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to design and deliver training programs. The person we seek is passionate about the experience of learners, brings positivity to the team, and easily creates lasting relationships. The chosen candidate is a proactive communicator who is not afraid to speak up, challenge assumptions, and advocate for effective learning solutions. A hybrid work format is preferred, with time split between working onsite and remotely. For this position, we will consider someone working out of any one of the major Combat Mission Systems locations: York PA, Sterling Heights MI, Louisville KY, or Minneapolis MN. Will consider fully remote candidates.
