About The Position

This position will be responsible for leading sales education and training programs under the direction of the Sr Manager of Training and Education and Sr Director of Training & Education. This position will act as the primary lead trainer for new hire sales training courses as well as tasked with co-development and execution of continuing education modules for the field sales team.

Requirements

• Ability to work effectively and diplomatically with multiple functions including field sales, marketing, regulatory/compliance and engineering
• A minimum of 5 years previous experience working in medical device field as field sales and/or sales trainer capacity or 5 years working in cardiac surgery or electrophysiology field
• Excellent communication skills, particularly presentation abilities
• Experience with the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint and Teams.
• Ability to travel 50% to AtriCure offices and throughout the US as needed

Nice To Haves

• Cardiac surgery and/or arrhythmia procedures
• Cardiac and electrophysiology device experience
• Stand-up training experience and/or adult learning training
• Experience building sales training content and/or medical device marketing management

Responsibilities

• Administer individual training and mentoring programs for the field sales team
• Help develop new content, learning tools, and competency assessments for the field
• Maintain expertise and knowledge in relation to Company products and procedures, as well as current literature, key clinical papers, and trends in the industry
